Part 2. Gart Ennis and Renaissance

In the same volumes, we get acquainted with the barracade. A mercenary whom life brought with a punisher, to his misfortune. And the antagonist came out so charismatic that Ennis devoted a separate mini-series to him (which was also published in a four-volume edition, thank you “Komilfo”).

But the final point does not put an Ennis. The last word remained for Jason Aaron (ghostly racer, Wolverine). Omnibus “Punisher Mach”, published in Russian, as a huge grave plate becomes a real grave plate for the punisher. 22 issues filled with blood, violence, smell of gunpowder. The series opens before us a new line of Frank, tells about PTSR, that he could not find a place in a world full of violence, but where he does not cause this violence. Aaron shows us that the death of the family was for the punisher by liberation, not for Frank, not. Frank died. But death became the reason for the payback of the punisher. And even when those who killed his family themselves turned to dust, he did not calm down.

Aaron did what no one else could afford. He sent Frank to rest. What he had long sought, but could not afford. The author puts an end. The one that Frank Kasl deserved.

The picture itself looks good, in the film there are good practical effects, one scene of the explosion at home at the beginning is worth it, the picture pleases the eye. The plot of course stars from the sky is not enough and comes down to the fact that Yakuza begins to nightmare local gangsters and steals their children. Casl will learn about this and cannot leave it like that, although these are children of gangsters, but Frank believes in their innocence, so it goes to save them. The history of the punisher is presented to us in several flashbacks, and we also find out that he used to be a cop who, after the murder of his wife and children, decided to take revenge and has been led for 5 years his crusade for 5 years. And as a result, this is just a strong action movie, from the 80s, with all his retro pathos and light naivety.

After that, in 2004, in my opinion, the best film about the punisher is released, the main role in which was played by Thomas Jane. Here we are presented with an exposition, this time we have a cashgest agent of the FBI. After the last assignment, he shot his son of criminal authority Howard Sint (performed by Nicholas Cage John Travolta) and he decides to take revenge on Frank. The script is partially based on the stories of Gart Ennis, from the Knights Marvel. Punisher »Volume 1, about which I mentioned. Frank lives in an apartment, 3 neighbors live nearby, who repeat their images from a comic book one to one, with the exception of Joan. But the agent was a good guy. He wants to leave, bury the punisher. The antagonist of the picture Jigsaw (in the future I will write in Russian jigso), which translates as a puzzle, a puzzle. But at the same time, our localizers translated it as a hacksaw. And this despite the fact that we are shown on the whole screen animation with the emerging puzzle, which speaks of the name of the villain. So, okay, I was very distracted. So, the puzzle abducts the wife and child of the agent killed by the kalm and wants to take revenge on the punisher. And it seems like the film is not bad, it shows violence at the maximum level, blood, intestines and other parts fly apart in all directions. But the film is very lame at the budget level. 1989 film with its practical effects looks much better. And the scene, as a punisher, shoots a grenade launcher in a parkist, simply causes laughter and Spanish shame.

Well, okay, I admit, I ducked a little. There was also a short film “Dirty Washing”, in which Thomas Jane returned to the role. And well, you can see it. The image of the punisher is good and pleasant to see the return of Jane, it is a pity for a full continuation with him we never saw.

After that, the punisher began to storm Netflix, and I did not like it. The punisher performed by John Bernantal does not cause me emotions. Although these emotions are given by Berntal himself. He yells, splashes saliva, sobs and lets out snot. Damn it, he became a meme. As a result, I did not master this punisher.

After this game was ported to Gameboy, where for some reason they added Spider-Man and removed Kingpin from the role of the main boss.

In the same 1990, the “punisher” was released for DOS and Amigo systems, in which we are given a puncture of the fighter’s combat van control to the city, which looks like the first gta iterations. In 1993, the “punisher” was released on arcade machines, developed by the Japanese from Capcom and is a classic bitem-up with the side of the side, where we are offered a punisher and Nika Fury (and you can also pass it together). The most important game is released in 2005, Volition forces. The 2005 punisher is a third -person dentifting shooter. The game received an official (forgive us localizer) Russian voice acting, in which the role of Kasla was played by Dyuzhev. In the original, Frank spoke in the voice of his role from large screens – Thomas Jane.

The game offers us a rich choice of arsenal, which we will kill the criminal world, starting from the pistols that can be taken in both hands, ending with flamethrower. The main advantage of the game is scenes of torture and finishing in which cruelty is built into the absolute. By default, the punisher is available 4 types of finishing, which can be carried out on any enemy: a threat of a gun, strangulation, beating. In addition, the game offers special torture, put a person in a crematorium, throw him to the rhino, throw it into a crusher. There are special enemies at the levels, for the torture of which we get valuable information. From ordinary opponents we can get flashbacks (I am just a soldier) who are drawings from comics, and sometimes opponents give funny phrases.

In addition to torture, there are special places of murders, for example, to sacrifice a person on the Mayan altar, and after the murder of the gutter they will be filled with blood, that is cruelty, or throw the enemy at the elephant tusk, piercing it through through. Blood, dismemberment, brutality.

There is also an element of pumping in the game. As a result of the passage of the level, we get glasses that we spend to improve health, rage, wearable cartridges and other attributes of the punisher, as well as weapons.

At the beginning, we are met by a high -quality screensaver in which our hero is cut off with Yakudza, after which the police are surrendered, the further plot is on behalf of the punisher, who is interrogated by the police. As the basis of the plot, the game takes the same Ran of Ennis on which the units are founded by the 2004 film with Thomas Jane. The punisher is storming the drug adherence, after which they try to kill him, having moved by car, Frank finds a car in a repair workshop, finds out that the Nucci family (hello gart) is behind him, after which he begins to methodically cut out a criminal family. There is one of my favorite scenes, where the punisher crawls out of the coffin at the funeral and begins to shoot everyone from the Army machine gun M60. (Here it is cruelty in all its glory). According to the plot, the neighbor Kasla – Joan, who is led to the zoo is abducted. And yes, this is also taken from the comic book of Ennis, though if in the original Frank was throwing Ma Nuchchi to the bears, then here we shoot with a buffer and save Joan. And after that we get a newspaper clipping on which CASL beats a bear in the face. Further, according to the plot, we methodically understand the crime family of Nucci, with a boober. The game also appears in the game (and again the classic of Ennis), with whom we enter into a disassembly in the apartment of Frank. (And damn it, they kill him in the comic book, giving a neighbor weighing a kilogram of 200 and laying on it for 30 minutes. In the film he was thrown off the stairs. He was immediately thrown out the window.)

After that, the game also represents a fragment from the release of “Jungle Named”, where we remember everything about the Vietnamese flashbacks and cut out people in the jungle. The plot of this episode also refers to the “Knights Marvel. Punisher ”, I don’t want to talk a lot about him, I note the Russian just appears again, and here its appearance is less epic-symbolic, because in the original the Russian head was attached to the new body, with large such female forms. In the game, the same is the same. And in the end, Frank flies away, exploding a nuclear bomb on the island.

In the future, we are waiting for a disassembly with Kingpin, a shootout with a sword. We learn that the main enemy is a jigso, who crushed the whole mafia in the city for himself. We go to Stark to prevent the abduction of his technology, but the cost of an iron person will still be stolen. After which the disassembly with Yakudza follows, and the CASL surrenders to the police, in general, then how it all started. Well, the last level in the game is dedicated to the prison, where we need to find a jigso, who planned an escape and acquired a suit, which was stolen from Stark.

And the last game in our list “Punisher: No Mercy”, which can be translated as “punisher: without mercy”, developed by Zen Studio (which has the track record for the most part consists of Pin-Bols of all stripes) and released in 2009. The game did not receive a disk edition and entered PS Store on PlayStation 3. And I can’t say anything good about her.

“Punisher: No Mercy” was conceived as an arena-player with the choice of characters. And the project shows that its base is multiplayer. There seems to be the plot mode, but it is a map of multiplayer and playing modes from a multiplayer where you need to kill a certain number of enemies, dial the right number of glasses and so on. So even in games for NES and SMD there were more plot. I don’t want to touch this even a 10 meter stick. This division is forgotten on PS3 servers, let it stay there.

And yes, I lost a lot in the history of the punisher, the early years, the death of Kasla and the Renaissance as an agent of the Higher Forces, the death and resurrection of Frenkenkadloma, the story of the cosmic ghostly racer, gaining the Warrior’s costume and abandoning him, as well as the modern iterations of Kasla and his re -release. And let it remain unreleased. My desire was to identify the most important milestones of the character. On this I put an end to the story of revenge and the fight against crime.
